Holy cow, it has been too long!
Hey everyone, the few of you who remember this site exists. Sorry I’ve not updated or done much of anything on here in two years. I have been super busy finishing up college and getting my life together.
But now, I’m graduated, I’ve got a place to live, I have a job (two technically, not counting my writing), and my schedule is manageable! Now I’m back and ready to really start making this site a place for me to conduct my writing. As such, I have a few announcements:
- In order to keep this place more alive and fix myself to a better schedule, I’ll strive to post something at least once a week, usually on Tuesdays. Expect the first of these April 2nd.
- I’m going to be linking this site to my twitter @TheRaelBrianL and I’m going to start going by my real name: Brian Rael Lazarow. I’ve finally worked up the confidence to drop the pseudonym, though I still have a few things in the works for L. B. Reel as a character.
- Along with switching to my normal name, I’m going to work on changing the website name and web address. Don’t know how that will go, but worst comes to worst I’ll merely have to claim another domain.
- Sadly, I no longer work for Temple of Geek, but I will occasionally post thoughts here on things I’ve read or seen.
- Actual short story posts will be slow as I try to submit my work to various literary magazines, but fear not I do have two big short story projects in the works. No spoilers, but I can tell you to be on the lookout on the internet for my former pseudonym, L. B. Reel, and that the events started in Sansh’n ‘lglith are only just beginning.
Anyway, that’s about all for the update. Hopefully I can keep to this schedule I’ve set myself and I hope you all will join me for the adventure!
